Our generous contributions to the Booster Club in recent years have had a very important impact on our American Baptist work and mission. Our efforts in 2002 and 2003 helpedCamp Vick construct the new swimming pool and bathhouse which were put into full service this past summer. The funds raised in 2004 for the Haitian-American church in Spring Valley, with assistance from ABEC, enabled them to do the necessary work on their building to provide for their Pastor's housing and Worship Space which they are now using. In 2005, we raised $4,001 toward the cost of purchasing a tractor for Camp Vick. Thank you for your generous support for these and the other projects which you have successfully funded!
We have decided that it would be great if we could once again complete what we have started! Our goal for the Camp Vick tractor project is $20,000, and we have quite a distance to go if we are to raise the remaining $15,999, but if we all ask our friends and churches to help, it could happen this year! So, please share the word and lets' make it possible for this needed item for mowing ands construction projects to be obtained.
Please join me in supporting this important project for our camp ministry by following the instructions below to send your contribution to ABMen NYS.
