Our 2011 Booster Club call is for American Baptist Camps and also for boys to attend the American Baptist Men’s Conference
Dear Booster Club Member,
Once a year we come to you with a request for funds to help with different projects. We support both international mission and national or local mission. The Executive Board of the American Baptist Men of New York State has identified, as the Booster’s Club appeal, a Scholarship Fund to assist in sending children and youth to American Baptist Camps and also for boys to attend the American Baptist Men’s Conference.
Today's tough economic conditions make it difficult for families to send their children to camp. It is the desire of our State Camping Committee that no child who wishes to go would be denied that opportunity because of finances. I am writing to invite you to consider giving a donation to the Boosters Club for this purpose.
Most of you are aware of the positive impact Christian camping has on children. Many of the youth who attend make first time commitments to Jesus Christ. They come home to their local churches excited about their faith and ready to serve Christ in their communities.
