 DISASTER RELIEF TRAILER NEEDS

The leaders of the American Baptist Disaster Relief Mission have been contacted to help with the cleanup. We are putting together teams to depart from Penn Yan on Sunday September 28th to go to Napoleonville, La. and return on Sunday, October 5, 2008. The more volunteers the more teams. There is a 15 passenger van available to help with transportation. They will be using the new 20' trailer to haul a loader and equipment. The primary work will be tree removal.

Arrangements are being made for lodging, food, showers, and laundry.

In addition to yourself, bring work clothing and extra shoes. It is good to have an up-to-date tetanus shot. Equipment that will be needed include chain saws, extra chains, files, chaps, ear protection, hard hat.
