Rev. Bill Dodge
Executive Director of the Utica Rescue Mission
Rev. Bill Dodge grew up near Binghamton, New York. He attended Baptist Bible College of Pennsylvania and Grand Rapids Theological Seminary in Grand Rapids, MI. After four years in pastoral ministry, Bill served as the Director of Spiritual Life at Mel Trotter Ministries in Grand Rapids for nine years. Rev. Dodge also served as the Executive Director of Exodus Ministries in Grand Rapids, helping former prisoners re-enter the work force.
Rev. Dodge sensed a call to ministry early in life, and as a pastor, found he had a passion to help people in crisis. This passion led him into Rescue Ministry and Prison work. In January of 2005, Rev. Dodge became the Executive Director of the Rescue Mission of Utica. During his time at the Rescue Mission of Utica, Rev. Dodge instituted the Residential Stabilization Program a program for Parolees in cooperation with the NY State Department of Parole. That program has had a 60% graduation rate since it began in November of 2005.
