Sunday Morning Bible Study

    Don grew up in the First Baptist Church of Ilion, NY, where he was Ordained in June 1965, following graduation from State University of New York at Albany and Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School.  He served as Pastor of American Baptist Churches in Ansonia, CT, Hilton, NY, Niagara Falls, NY, Aliquippa, PA, and Corning, NY, retiring from full-time ministry in 2000, to Penn Yan, NY.  He is currently serving as Secretary of the Board of Mission of the American Baptist Churches of NYS, and as Pastor Counselor for ABMen/NYS, who honored him as "Man of The Year" in 2005.  He does supply preaching and often teaches Lay Studies Courses in "Worship" and "Preaching".  He and his wife, Kathie, volunteered for four years as Official Visitors for the Ministers and Missionaries Benefit Board, and are now Co-moderators of the Finger Lakes Association of American Baptist Churches.  They have two married sons, Mark and Jonathan, and three grandchildren.
